It is in these tragic events that such as Jub Jub’s incident that we see the real colours of our African celebrities and role models.
South African hip-hop heavy weight and Deep Level’s manager, Thabiso Khati, has taken the initiative to help the victims of the Jub Jub incident. He is calling out all South African artists and industry players to raise funds for the families involved.
Already vowed to help in this event is LIVE VJ Bonang; Metrofm show producer Dj Naves; hip hop group Teargas; Rappers Tumi from the Volume and AKA; publicists Tebello (Tibz); Yfm radio dj, dj Sbu and hip hop dance crew The Repetoires.
The event is planned to take place at Bassline, Newtown, on 9 April 2010. Keep it locked to the MTV base blog and website for more info on this great initiative from a great humanitarian.
