50 Cent Makes Controversial Remarks About Beyonce & Rihanna

G-Unit leader 50 Cent may have stirred up some controversy by claiming he would marry Jay-Z's wife, Beyonce, if given the opportunity and have unprotected sex with her.

In addition to Beyonce, 50 also said he would not mind being romantically linked with Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

"I would kiss Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna," he said in an interview when asked which he would kiss, marry and avoid amongst the threesome. "I would marry Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna in Africa, I'd have 3 wives! And I would avoid wearing condoms and have really big families! I think it's hot [the 'Telephone' video]. But there's a shot in the video in the diner that's just breasts. And it looks great, but if I shot the same shot in my music video, they would make me edit that immediately."

LLOYD BANKS CONSIDERING EXPERIMENTAL ALBUM, "I CAN WRITE R&B RECORDS"

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks is reportedly taking a cue from 50 Cent and considering incorporating other musical genres on his Rotten Apple follow-up album.

While he is known for gritty street rhymes, Banks says he can also slow things down with his R&B writing skills.

"The music overseas, the party atmospheres -- it's incredible," Banks explained in an interview. "Don't get me wrong, I love the club scenes in New York City and the States, [but] when you go overseas, you might hear [the Black Eyed Peas singing] 'Toniiight's gonna be a good night.' You're hearing that in the club 10 times. So if you didn't know that joint, I come back over here like, 'You don't know that record? You're buggin' -- that's poppin!' That record, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Lady Gaga -- you're hearing so many different records, it makes you want to expand as an artist and get records that's enjoyed by all people. They're definitely gonna hear those kind of records from me too...A lot of people don't know I write more than rap music. I can write R&B records. I can write hit records -- just put it like that. Hopefully I'll be writing for a few more people in the future."

I had the prestigious privilege to be invited to Bonang’s website launch yesterday (March 10, 2010). The so-ever-so beautiful LIVE VJ/ YFM DJ had requested that this be a closed event as I could imagine hundreds of the fans rushing to pat her shoulder in the not so large venue, Mibar. It was however very lovely to see her closest friends in her personal life and in the industry show her much support.

Moving to business now. Bonang is a brand. The 23-year-old down to earth celebrity has most definitely done did it again. How does one get to excel in everything she tries? Well the answer is simple… Miss B* doesn’t try… she goes HARD!!

We had the opportunity to see the website go live. What I really like about this site is that it is personal. I believe and trust that it is the real Miss B* and not what her publicists want to her to be. Furthermore, she does not only let out just one side of her, you can get to know the “TV Bonang”, the “Radio Bonang” and even my favourite… the “Model Bonang”. With all the info you can get from there, the photographs taken and the colours, you can see that she has made it her personal space.

We also introduced to her new handbag collection. Yeah, they looked too fabulous; exactly what I would like my girl to wear. Coming in different colours and sizes, I was impressed at the designs. Now do not get me wrong, I am not a handbag collector, but if I were to start collecting handbags for fun, then Bonang’s range would come in first.

This was one of the most chilled launches I had gone to. It was really impressive and big up to the organizers for putting together such an awesome event.

BENEFIT CONCERT FOR JUB’S VICTIMS

It is in these tragic events that such as Jub Jub’s incident that we see the real colours of our African celebrities and role models.

South African hip-hop heavy weight and Deep Level’s manager, Thabiso Khati, has taken the initiative to help the victims of the Jub Jub incident. He is calling out all South African artists and industry players to raise funds for the families involved.

Already vowed to help in this event is LIVE VJ Bonang; Metrofm show producer Dj Naves; hip hop group Teargas; Rappers Tumi from the Volume and AKA; publicists Tebello (Tibz); Yfm radio dj, dj Sbu and hip hop dance crew The Repetoires.

The event is planned to take place at Bassline, Newtown, on 9 April 2010. Keep it locked to the MTV base blog and website for more info on this great initiative from a great humanitarian.

JUB JUB TESTS POSITIVE FOR COCAINE

Ealy this morning, JMPD spokesperson came out to update family members and the public on the Jub Jub mess up.

He told the public that the two drivers responsible for the death of five teenage school kids( The fifth one passed away this morning) and 2 injured, tested posiitve for alcohol and coccaine.

The Soweto residents are protesting for justice at the moment. This issue is the most talked about topic among South Africans on twitter... the country is mourning.

The duo are set t appear in court on Tuesday.

We'll still keep you updated on this event as we learn more of it.

KWAITO STAR SLEEPING IN JAIL TONIGHT

It is so unfortunate that four families have been turned upside down because of another crazy move from one of these celebrities.
Kwaito star- wannabe rap star Jub Jub has been arrested for bumping into teenage school kids while racing with another driver.

The accident happened this afternoon in the township of Soweto where it is believed that Jub Jub lost control of his vehicle while drag racing. In the process, four children died and three were injured.

The star and the other driver, who hasn’t been identified yet, have been arrested and it is not yet known when the driving duo will appear in court. Unfortunately now, The Ndikokele singer will have to learn things the hard way.

Shall the jugde compromise because Jub Jub is well known?? Well I hope not. We shall keep you posted as we learn more of the case.

And The Nominees Are...

And now the final countdown has finally begun. Artists and record labels cross fingers till the big night. It's only around this time that the churches get to see their famous artists, it's only around this time that artists start speaking in tongues and it's only aroundthis time that fashion designers in South Africa make most of their money... and what happens after April... We really not sure.

Last night(4th of March 2010) was most definitely a star-studded occasion as the Music Industry experts, TheMedia, Record Labels and distribution companies, artists, producers and even djs, gathered to witness the launch and the announcement of the nominees for the 16th South African Music Awards (SAMA).

On this night, I came to see three kind of artists. One- The JOYFUL- As the nominees for certain categories were announced, you could see that hip hop group Teargas was filled with joy. The three member group was nominated for the categories 'Best Group', 'Best Rap Album' and mos def also made it in the category 'Album Of The Year'.

Two- The NOT JOYFUL BUT LET'S TAKE IT BACK TO THE BOOTH. Rapper Proverb tweeted: "I'm actually quite disappointed! Write of passage is a solid album. I guess I wouldn't care if I didn't work so hard. Congrats tomy peers".

And the last- the NOT JOYFUL BUT LET'S GET CRUNK ANYWAY-Such so was Skwatta Kamp founder and member Shuga.

In the category for 'Best Urban Dance Album', the nominees included Black Coffee for 'Home Brewed', Culoe de Song for 'A Giant Leap', DjCleo for 'Es'khaleni 6', Liquideep for 'Oscillation' and Oskido for 'Oskido's Church Grooves 8 & 9th Commandment'.

Lil Wayne’s jail sentencing has reportedly been delayed due to a courthouse fire. The rap star was scheduled to turn himself in yesterday to serve one year at New York’s Riker’s Island prison for his felony gun case, but couldn’t on account of the courthouse blaze. According to the Associated Press, the fire began in the basement of the lower Manhattan court and over a thousand people were ordered to evacuate, with eight people suffered minor injuries. Wayne was en route to the courthouse just before learning it was closed. Weezy released this statement via Twitter on Monday: "Yesterday i smiled, today i smirked, tomorrow i stop ... Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, they're needed. The F is for family, friends, and fans..........thank u...........your love and prayers are felt.
