South African singer, Refiloe Tsotetsi, also know as Relo will be launching her debut album tomorrow.

The singer is now departing on her solo path after Skwatta Kamp gave her a hella a lot of publicity, some people even thought she was part of SK.

We caught up with her si she could tell us more on the album, and she warned us that it's very different from what we used to her doing( LOL, yeah we used to be being featured, now she's rolling solo). She's coming out with a house album. LOL, but I ain't surprised, she is the vocalist on Dj Ganyani's lase Dcecember hit, Keep On Moving, and I loved the joint.

The first single, Gift Of Life, is really getting heavy radio rotation and topping the SA charts. I love it too. She teamed up with Chief Kent on this album, so I definitely think we might see her as a SAMA nominee or even a MAMA nominee.

With the release of her "Empire State of Mind" freestyle Lil Mama addresses critics of her unscripted Video Music Awards 2009 on-stage appearance alongside Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

Keys recently talked about Lil Mama's unexpected stage crash and said the young emcee should have remained seated.

American rapper, PAPOOSE will be in SA for his five-day tour. I just know that he will be hitting Carfax on the 25th of September along with some local artists. Word on the streets also got it that the Alphabetical Slaughter rapper will also be battling Pro(kid) at the event.

LOL... Pro vs Papoose?? I think Pro is gon be slaughtered, except if he decides to go zulu on him.

Then I also honestly think that this event won't draw a lot of people- that's my opinion.

NE-YO SPILLS ON UPCOMING PROJECTS

Ne-Yo is such a busy man these days. When we caught up with the singer during the MTV Video Music Awards, he told us what projects he’s currently working on.

(Cut #1) "I'm writing Jennifer Hudson's next pretty much whole next album pretty much… I'm working with Rihanna right now that's pretty much it right now I'm trying to focus on this movie thing for this year and then probably after that working on the fourth album."

The film Ne-Yo is referring to is titled Battle: L.A. which stars Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez. The sci-fi action flick is scheduled to his theaters in 2010. <

USHER HAS A NEW GIRLFRIEND?
In Touch Weekly reports Usher has already moved on now that he’s officially single. The singer has been hanging out with a woman named Grace Miguel, who is 12 years older than him. A source told the mag Usher "loves the fact that she’s creative, has her own career and doesn’t appear to want anything from him other than companionship. He’s madly in love.” The two have been spotted recently in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for one of his upcoming music videos.

WHOOP WHOOP!!! Nobody is as excited as I am today, but then yeah I've been expecting this one ever since I got my copy of Blueprint 3. Even though Jay's latest album leaked out 2 weeks before its official release date, the mogul stilll managed to DEBUT NUMBER ONE on the billboard charts for the best selling album of the week. Based on preliminary sales numbers from Nielsen SoundScan, Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" shifted 476,000 copies in the week that ended at the close of business on Sunday (Sept. 13) night.

Jay-Z's No. 1 achievement with "Blueprint 3" will push him ahead of Elvis Presley as the solo act with the most No. 1 albums in the more-than 50-year history of the Billboard 200. And Jay will now have the second-most No. 1 albums among all acts. Fittingly, only the Beatles, with 19 No. 1s, have more.

Jay addresses this issue on his album. On a song featuring Rihanna, called Riminder. He says, and I quote:

Go Hard- A term popularised by the Miami based producer, Dj Khaled. "It's time for me to GO HARD as the hood I'm from", is the opening line from the single " Go Hard " which Khaled performs alongside Kanye West - self proclaimed NEW King of Pop, and Mr.Autotune himself, T-Pain. The energy from this line should give one an idea of what goin hard means, but imma break it down for ya'll.

Going Hard is the manner in which one acts in a particular situation. 2009 MTV VMA WINNERS

Yo, the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were just insane- Not your mediocre kinda awards. I could say that they are the best I have seen in a minute, but ya know that is how MTV gets downs.

I definitely enjoyed every bit of it, from the red carpet to the big show iself (including the Tracy Morgan and Emiem short series spoofs), from the Kanye West stunt with Taylor Swift, to the MJ tribute- It was definitely great time spent.

Gree Day, Beyonce and my personal favourite Lady Gaga scooped the most awards, each taking a set of three awards. The most splendid performance I could say was from rapper Jay-Z and songwriter-singer Alicia Keys, performing my favourite track from the Blueprint 3.

There is to much to tell and so little time, if ya didn't catch the VMA's, I really don't know that you were thinking!!

jay rocks Madison square AGAIN !!!

Jay-Z shut down Madison Square Garden to play his 9/11 Benefit concert on Friday. In case you missed it here’s what happened:
Jay-Z spoke openly about how he felt about the tragic events of 9/11 before playing any songs.
He told the crowd: “They believed that it would weaken us; they were sadly mistaken.”
Hova brought Rihanna and Kanye West out to perform their collaboration with him, “Run This Town.”
Next, Jay played “Empire State of Mind” off his new album, Blueprint 3. Unfortunately, Alicia Keys – who sings the hook – was unable to attend the event.
Santigold and Memphis Bleek also jumped on stage to perform “Brooklyn Go Hard” with the mogul.
The rapper then played a slew of instrumentals like “Bonnie and Clyde,” “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” and “D.O.A.”
Jay told the crowd: “Make some noise for everybody who lost their life, so we could live ours.”
Beyonce performed “Diva” shortly after Jay played his newest single, “Venus Vs. Mars.”
Diddy, Kid Cudi, John Mayer and DJ Biz Markie were also in attendance.
Even Jay’s mother-in-law, Tina Knowles, was spotted throwing up the Roc sign in the audience!
The show ended with “Encore” as Jay and Kanye returned to the stage to a standing ovation.

KANYE apologizes!!!

After the big show, Kanye West took to his blog and apologized. "I'm sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom," he wrote. "I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!” He continued, "Beyoncé's video was the best of this decade!!!! I'm sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!!! I'm sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world!!!! Everybody wanna booooo me but I'm a fan of real pop culture!!! No disrespect but we watchin' the show at the crib right now cause ... well you know!!!! I'm still happy for Taylor!!!! Boooyaaawwww!!!! You are very very talented!!! I gave my awards to Outkast when they deserved it over me ... That's what it is!!!!!!! I'm not crazy y'all, i'm just real. Sorry for that!!! I really feel bad for Taylor and I'm sincerely sorry!!! FROM AWARD SCOOPING TO TRASH SCOOPING

So we all know that R&B singer Chris Brown was sentenced and whara whara whara. But then what does he really have to do??

Well according to TMZ.com, the star will have to wear one of those reflective vests( lol...that itself is a major punishment...lol) and will begin his 8 hour shift at 8 am. The Department of Correctional Services will the pick him up along with 40 other offenders and take them to places where he'll be picking up garbage.

Who might have thought Mr Brown will be on garbage duty?? If ya seen him on the highway picking that litter up... throw some more at him.

BABY STEALS ELTON'S HEART

A 14-month baby from a Ukraine orphanage has "stolen Elton John's heart". The British songwriter, Elton and partner David Furnish are considering on adopting the cute looking boy by the name of Lev.

He said: "David and I have always talked about adoption, David always wanted to adopt a child and I always said 'no' because I am 62 and I think because of the travelling I do and the life I have, maybe it wouldn't be fair for the child."

Damn seems like he changed his mind now. Will David and Elton finally start a family, and live happily ever after??...uhm, we have to see about that. We will keep ya informed.

DARK OR BLUE

Uhm... no this ain't no mistake... I actually meant Dark or Blue, not Black or Blue. Dark or Blue is the new album from the SAMA award winning hip hop group, TEARGAS, which just dropped yesterday( Although I didn't get it when I went to the store).

To this time, I've only heard one track from this album, and I won't say how I feel about it. But then I feel that the hype behind this album wasn't created. I bet there are a lot of fanatics who don't know about the album. Even though I spent about 30 minutes with them about 3 weeks ago, I wasn't hinted about it. Here is a tutorial lesson for ya guys... Start marketing the album before it drops, not 2 weeks to the SAMA.

Anyway, anyhow, I truly wasn't impressed with WAFA WAFA. I definitely think their first album was tops. But I ain't letting hope go, I really think that Dark or Blue might just come out right, I mean artists give their best in times of recession. K.O. , Ntukza and Ma-E, I got your back homies( No Homo).
