Once again everyone took to the North West for the most anticipated event of the year; I don’t have to say what it was. I know that you know.
The street team arrived on Friday and needless to say the atmosphere was amazing, after getting over the frustration of waiting to drive into the resort that is.
Every sun loving Jo-burger naturally dropped they’re bags and hit the valley of the waves first. The stimirol beach party was the perfect way to start off what was about to be an epic weekend with beautiful young ladies and very scary steroid munching beefy dudes all present in they’re swimwear pieces but we had no idea what was in store for us later that night.
Friday night
Was the best night to have been at SunCity.
The Mtv after party was all a party going burger could ask for and more..
The Superbowl was looking better than some concerts I’ve been to for this party.
They even had Xbox consoles along the wall juuust in case you were craving a game or two in-between.
To everyone that went to the ‘shebeen’ on Friday night. That was probably the worst decision ever made in your party lives .
Saturday
We had to dig into our energy reserves for this day.
Even going down to grab some breakfast at the palace was a task.
The beach party hosted by 5fm..Hey, now that’s how you prep yourself for another heavy night.
Drinks with old and new friends at the beach (you always make friends at SpringBreak) don’t forget the music that makes it all a party, life without DJ’s would be the death of me.
Honestly the 5fm party at the hall of treasures was nice but it just didn’t live up to Friday nights standards as we all expected. Just saying.
With that in mind we thought we’d do a little party hopping and to our shock & amazement, the err good people down at the ‘shebeen’ don’t recognize MTV or 5FM, geez they really are from Rustenburg eh lol.
My take..dont bother yourself with the ‘shebeen’ during SpringBreak ever again..it was nice in 09 but it seems to have gotten real bad.
The DJ kept killing his crowd with bad mixes and song selections (no names mentioned) shame man.
It’s a really long walk up from the ‘shebeen’..think about it carefully next time guys lol
Sunday
It was a relaxed day really but still..
You ant keep a jo-burger down..we were up again except this time we bode farewell to most of the crazy souls that took over SunCity and now had a long drive home to negotiate (hope you all got home safe dudes and dudettes).
We spent some time on a dancing machine at the arcade and got owned then we passed by the valley one last time before coming back to J-sec.
It was epic, we loved it and we know you did too. If you missed it this year,,do come next year or you’ll feel left out again because the tagging frenzy on facebook and the twitpics just wont end for this week lol.
