CHRISTINA MILIAN SAYS GRAB BRING IT ON DVDChristina Milian is currently promoting the release of her new Bring It On: Fight To The Finish DVD and she stopped by to tell us a little about her character in the flick. The singer/actress admitted that she was drawn to playing someone so similar to herself. (Cut #2) "It’s very female driven and its confident and I think some of the things that I like to do tend to be that and expresses the true feeling of a girl. On top of that I got to play Latina, and I’m Cuban so I finally got to be something more of my culture and I think people have been waiting for me to play something more Latina based. And this would be my first time to, and she’s the true definition of a young Latina girl.” Christina spilled on the challenges of portraying “Lina Cruz” in the movie. (Cut #3) "It’s both difficult and easy, because I probably faced a lot of the things that my characters have faced. Umm ‘Lina’ she’s very passionate and driven and people are trying to stop her doing what she does, so I think I had to deal with a lot of that in high school and still to this day, I’m 27 years old now. So I think there’s a nice arch that comes with the character, nobody can get her down.” Bring It On: Fight To The Finish will be released on Tuesday.
